- Customize and personalize learning activities to address students’ diverse learning styles, working strategies, and abilities using digital tools and resources
- Provide students with multiple and varied formative and summative assessments aligned with content and technology standards, and use resulting data to inform learning and teaching
Reflections & Artifacts
The second standard focuses on the effectiveness of offering students customized learning tools and methods, which is easy to understand since technology tools are of various formats and thus can be accessed via different devices, such as computers, mobile phones, tablets and even iPods. The course content recorded in the format of a podcast is reachable for those students who don't have available computers. As being a piece of audio information, a podcast can be played via a mobile phone. For the quiz in Quizizz, the application has a mobile version which is totally free in App Store and Android store. Besides, the integration of technology in education makes it possible for students to conduct the learning at their pace. The interactive video edited with EDpuzzle allows students to re-watch the video and then answer the questions, which is more adaptive to students of different learning level.
Future Learning Goals
According to the standards, the customization of course materials is a significant element concerning students’ success. I would remind myself in the future, no matter for the course contents or the assessments, the preparation work should be accompanied by the consideration of students' various needs. At the same time, making an appropriate decision on the technology tools would also be one of my future focuses. I’ll do some pre-tests and make sure the tool possess the advantages of conveying complete course information and can be reached via diverse devices
